BEAT DIABETES is an 8 week medically-guided comprehensive program and support group to address type 2 diabetes. By combining the latest science on nutrition and lifestyle medicine with clinical care, education and social support, Beat Diabetes can help you address type 2 diabetes in a compassionate, supportive and safe environment.
The Program
Purpose: Support individuals with type 2 diabetes to adopt an optimal lifestyle with the goal of potentially reversing diabetes.
Includes:
Weekly support group sessions: Short health talk+ peer support and learning (you’re not alone; we’re in this together!)
Addresses the root issues in type 2 diabetes
Comprehensive approach that covers the various aspects of lifestyle medicine
Continuously updated to reflect latest evidence and best practices in diabetes care
Clinic staff committed to compassionate and quality care
Complimentary access to follow-up programs, including Veg Kickstarter and Pathways Support Groups.

Lifestyle medicine uses evidence-based lifestyle therapeutic approaches to prevent, treat and often times even reverse many of the leading chronic diseases of today, including type 2 diabetes and obesity.

This program is eligible for reimbursement/coverage in health benefits and insurance plans that cover naturopathic medicine. Please check with your health insurance provider.

Initial Registration - $200
Final instalment (at end of program) - $100
This includes labs and blood work, doctor consultations, support group and education sessions, practical tools and resources.
