Presentation topic: Should your kids be plant-based?

We’ve all heard the saying: “they’re just kids”! We often think that chronic disease is something that we should really only worry about later in life. We feel that kids are growing so there’s no need to be too strict with what they eat or how they live. After all, they’re just kids, right?

However, we now know that chronic disease process are set in motion at a very young age. The foundation for diseases that manifest later in life are laid when we are children. In fact, doctors are now discovering that kids have diseases such as diabetes and heart disease that are typically found mostly in adults. In this engaging health talk, we’ll learn how this happens and why it’s so important to start kids early on a healthy lifestyle, especially plant-based eating. We’ll also learn practical tips from parents on how to raise your children plant-based.

Everyone welcome! Invite a friend and family member. Bring your kids!

Special: there will be a give-away from every kid who attends the event. So invite all t he kids!
